Questionnaire

Firstly, the PLAN of the development and the ROAD LAYOUT

We are putting forward three options

Option A : Follows the Local Plan safeguarded route, along the east side of the Business Park before crossing the railway line and taking a direct route westwards to the existing Plumstead Road East/Dussindale Drive junction, with two roundabouts between to slow traffic and access the new homes.

Option B: goes through the middle of the Business Park and seeks to retain more of the tree belts and reduce traffic speeds by sharper turns, with the Plumstead Road East/Dussindale Drive junction further east.

Option C is similiar to B, except at Middle Road a new alignment for the rail bridge would retain more existing trees and hedges and the Plumstead Road East junction is further east, with the existing Dussindale Drive junction unaltered.
In each case, this is for a 'human scale' road. By that, we mean a single carriageway, ideally 30mph road designed to encourage slow and safe driving - not a fast, straight highway.

If you have a preference, please indicate which one you prefer
